Run The Distance

So.. and I are writing a new story called Run the Distance.
Here's the prologue:

--[]InkWolf has just joined Distance.Com! Welcome them![]--

A soft sigh escaped the teenager's lips as he stared at the almost friendly screen of the website he had found. Distance dot com. He didn't know about the website until he heard classmates talk about it, saying they met friends from around the world. He found it sort of ironic, because he was sort of away from everybody. Especially his new friend.

He didn't have any friends until somebody messaged him.

[]Magikarpet[] yo gurl. how you doing??
[]InkWolf[] Um, excuse me?

The teenager stared at his screen in confusion, sipping from his water bottle that he had set down on his night stand beside his bed. He stared down at the laptop in his lap, feeling its warmth on his crossed legs. He was barely dressed, just wearing some boxers and shorts.

[]Magikarpet[] you are a girl right
[]InkWolf[] Nope, sorry to disappoint you.
[]Magikarpet[] god dammit

He was about to leave the conversation until somebody else replied, someone new.

[]FalseShepard666[] Magikarp, i told you that InkWolf was a guy. i looked at his description-- unlike you.
[]Magikarpet[] its stalky though
[]FalseShepard666[] so are you.
[]InkWolf[] ?

The teenager, InkWolf, was confused and a bit weirded out. He felt it would be best if he left?

[]FalseShepard666[] oh, sorry! i'm FalseShepard666, this is my friend Magikarpet. we, uh, noticed you were new since we look at the forums a lot so we decided to welcome you!
[]InkWolf[] Why me, though?
[]Magikarpet[] yea why her
[]FalseShepard666[] him, Magikarp. but why you? well, because you seem alone! it's not good to be alone.
[]InkWolf[] I guess so..
[]FalseShepard666[] don't worry, we won't bite. c:

He sighed softly, guessing that he should trust them. He wondered what he got himself into..
